We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior New Business Development Executive to drive business growth across South Africa and the African continent. This is a high-impact role for a results-driven professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity solution sales, a proven ability to engage with C-level executives, and a track record of market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales and Market Expansion:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across South Africa and African markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts.

Consultative Selling:

  • Leverage Prima Secure’s consultative approach to understand client challenges and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions.
  • Present Prima Secure’s offerings as critical enablers of client business objectives.

C-Level Relationship Building:

  • Establish trusted relationships with C-level executives, positioning Prima Secure as a strategic partner.
  • Facilitate discussions on cybersecurity strategies, emerging threats, and bespoke solutions.

Solution Expertise:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and Prima Secure’s core offerings.
  • Articulate how services align with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover).

Account Growth and Retention:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining strong, long-term relationships.

Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and provide regular performance reports to management.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven success in cybersecurity solution sales across South Africa and Africa.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving account growth, including documented success in the past 6 months.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence C-level executives.
  • Experience in penetrating new markets and developing business opportunities.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions and their application in diverse environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of core cybersecurity services and managed solutions.
  • Proactive awareness of industry trends and emerging threats.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across South Africa and Africa as required.
