New Business Sales Executive (Cyber Security)

We are hiring for our Cape Town Office for an experienced IT security sales account manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. You will do so by identifying key business opportunities and segmented prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to close deals over the phone
  • Build a pipeline and maintain long-term relationships with prospects
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Develop annual sales strategy and goals
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Qualifications

  • SSL certificates & PKI sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record in selling IT solutions (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Zoho)
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Impeccable time management and planning skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ of sales experience
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding quota and closing sales
  • Strong experience in IT security sales is recommended

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
